The song sure rings a bell in your eardrum; it’s one of the songs being sung by the late Afro Beat legend, Fela Anikulapo Kuti whose son, Femi has taking after. Femi is rumoured to have impregnated two other women while another woman is already carrying his four months old baby.

Geraldine Obi is a chemical Engineering graduate of Enugu State University whose passion for modelling  and acting has no equal. Borne out of the desire to actualise her childhood dream of achieving fame in life , Geraldine started her modelling career while still an undergraduate. Presently the reigning Miss Abia, she has featured in a couple of  movies to her credit. Our reporter ran into her while on location in Asaba, Delta State capital,where she speaks on her modelling and acting career, life prospects and other issues.

Excerpts; How is the acting and modeling profession?

It’s fantastic, I’m coping well.

Adora Oleh is young and pretty. The oldest of three children, she found her love for performing and presenting while studying at a private convent school for girls in London. And for six years now, she has been a television presenter both in the UK and Nigeria. At home, she became popular as the co-presenter of the MTN Project Fame West Africa. What is your day-to-day makeup routine?

On a regular day, it would go this way: some concealer, face powder, then an eyebrow pencil, followed by a black eyeliner (or pencil), and lastly, some lip gloss (lightly-coloured mostly). Occasionally, I could use a few strokes of blusher.

Two time Grammy Awards nominee and Nigerian-born Juju music crooner, King Sunny Ade, is expected to do a song with other international artistes for the 2010 FIFA World Cup fiesta, scheduled to hold in South Africa.

Tall, sexy and creative, Chika Ike-Ebireri joined Nollywood five years ago as an undergraduate. Luck smiled on her and she became a household name. Blessed with a husband, who doesn’t complain about her busy schedule and her romantic roles in movies, Chika loves life and all the good things of life. Last week, star-actor, Bob Manuel Udokwu and his wife marked their one decade of marriage. As a king pin in the Nollywood industry, where divorce has almost become elevated to the status of a tradition, the Udokwus’ achievement in succeeding to live happily together, as married couples became something that called for a celebration.

It was for this reason then, that the celebrants last week, called together their friends, fans and colleagues to felicitate with them at Grasshoppers Suit , 24 Road, Festac Town. At a quite party that marked the occasion, and as people happily helped themselves to good foods and choice drinks, one question continued to prop, seeking for answer.

Since her much talked about birthday bash held last year, many people have gone to town with the gist that Empress Njamah has found a new love.

It was rumoured that one big shot popularly referred to as Danduko, is the one in the life of the pretty actress. Those who were at the birthday bash even claimed that the gig was solely sponsored by Danduko.
