Kiss Me if U Can 'Movie'

Kiss Me if U Can ‘Movie’

Movies are meant to educate the public and address various social issues. So a concerned citizen and a ‘celebrity stalking addict’ like me would expect Ghanaian producers to come out with movies that will help solve some social cankers in a sensible manner but not this ‘Crap’.

Let me make this vivid that these are my views. You can support or oppose it by leaving your comments below. What do we see nowadays? Any backstreet orphan who claims to be a movie producer can set up any ‘lotto kiosk’, borrow some phone cameras and call it a production house. Swiaa! Why wouldn’t we find avalanche of porn movies in our movie industries?

Progressing on a trail of success stories and praise from Hollywood and beyond, ‘The Tenant’ premiered in Nigeria on Saturday, December 12 at the Genesis Deluxe Cinemas, Lekki. Steve McQueen Announces Fela Kuti Film

Posted on 11 Dec 2009 at 12:22pm

LONDON—After winning praise for his first feature film Hunger, which explored the 1981 hunger strike of Irish Republican Army prisoners, artist Steve McQueen has announced he plans to tackle a marginally cheerier topic for his next film: the life of African music star Fela Kuti.

There’s been a resurgence in Kuti’s popularity since his death of complications from AIDS in 1997. There is currently a major Broadway musical about his life running in New York, and James Schamus of Focus Pictures, which is producing the film, argues that the musician may be “the most globally influential pop artist outside the Beatles in the last 50 years.” McQueen will reportedly write the screenplay for the biopic along with Biyi Bandale.

“I’m afraid of everyone in the house, but my greatest threat is Stella Damaus; she has got the swagger and the skills”, Faze revealed. However, Faze believes he is still one of the top contenders for the coveted prize, and he is working hard towards that.
