After 3 long years of holding grudges against each other due to some very vital difference, Genevieve Nnaji and Rita Dominic have sheathed their swords.

Weeks back, they formally shook hands in public and walked side by side into the Oriental Hotels, located at Ozumba Mbadiwe Street in Victoria Island, during the Premiere of “Silent Scandal by Vivian Ejike of Purple Pine Production, which featured top movies stars like Genevieve Nnaji, Uche Jumbo, Ebere Okaro, Ghanaian Majid Michael and a host of others.

Rita Dominic who is now a Brand Ambassador to several leading corporations like Globacom and Nokia, could not stop the crowd from giving loud cheers as she stormed the venue dressed in a nice elegant dress that revealed her ever glittering skin. Genevieve Nnaji and Rita Dominic, a few years back used to be very good friends and it seemed that nothing could set these two beautiful screen divas apart, but as life would have it, whatsoever that has an advantage would most definitely have its disadvantages at its own time.

For these two good friends, the problem stated when a London based big boy, who is Rita Domininc’s one time lover and a former staff of Minaj Television, then owned by Senator Mike Ajegbo, started having an affair with Genevieve.

That was the genesis of the problem which has had a life span of 3 years, one which without doubt, has set these two ladies apart. In recent times, Genevieve could never be spotted around Rita. It was so bad that if there was any event of a movie premiere and one is expected there, the other would be no where near the venue.

Rita Dominic in her words sometime said that she cannot believe Genevieve could stoop so low to date her ex-boyfriend which was her grievance. But as things would be, it seems the 2 have made up their minds and have come up with a lovely resolution to make up their long rift to each other before the new year. Some of their colleagues who are also their friends but would not want their names in print confirmed that the two are now on talking terms ever since the movie premiere. Now one can rightly say that the new year means new things for people and the are not an exception.
