Jon, the winner of the Nigerian reality show Naija Sings is in studio with Minx.
“Young Gifted and African” is a brand new show by Channel O. Also known as YGA, the show gives the continent’s youth 30 minutes of superb entertainment that is driven by the presenters, DJs and viewers themselves.
Leading the pack of the former are hugely popular, longtime Channel VJs, Lungile and Kabelo, who have made their respective marks over the years through shows like O-boma, Dance Africa and Urban Massive. Adding a dose of great new energy are Enhle and The Twinz, who will undoubtedly up the appeal of what is set to be a super-charged show.
The Gifted Mix puts the focus firmly on music with a theme, which can be suggested by viewers themselves (for example, just how many music videos feature musicians with Afros?) and a regular feature will be ‘Hottie’ – which will look at anything that is sizzling hot right now.
