A Benin based comedian turned singer, Maleke has recorded a beef song targeted at one of Nigeria’s leading rap acts, Mode 9. On why he made the song, Maleke said he felt upset at what Mode 9 said about Nigerian comedians.
“He came out to say we comedians use songs from rappers to make money which is not true that is why I decided to record the song and get back at him.”
To drive home his point, Maleke coined lyrics like: “In this game you are a novice, and I will advice you like a father……then I go tie you wrapper and and take away your one shoe and shirt.”
