Long time coming rapper, William Orioha a.k.a 2Shotz is ready to release his fifth album in his decade-old catalogue of music history. The Hip Hop head famed for his deft delivery of pidgin rap will be making a slight detour on this new project scheduled for an August release.
Titled I AM William, the 13-track album is a collection of songs that cut across Rap, Pop, DanceHall and R & B genres of music. On the album, 2Shotz not only shows convincingly that he can hold his own in good English rap but he also goes as far as singing on a track titled ‘Craze for you’.

Singer 9ice may not be the typical fashionable Hip Hop artiste especially since he shuns the traditional blings, ear rings and crazy hair styles.
Even his traditional Tee shirts are not so much to be desired because they are as plain as plain can be- not to use the word ‘boring’.

A new genre of hip-hop will be berthed this September as Popular Fuji maestro; Abass Akande Obesere announces plans to release his much anticipated hip-hop album. Earlier, the fuji act had announced plans to cross over to the hip-hop genre a move which many saw as impossible but the Orobokibo crooner soon shut skeptics up when he featured in debutant, Diamondz’s single, bosokoto. As a matter of fact, many believed his presence on the single gave it a lift.

Courtesy of a new reality TV show being packaged by HiTV Entertainment in partnership with Aero Contractors, voters will have the opportunity to select a tolerant Nigerian who willing to accept corrections from other citizens. The show tagged, Naija TV, according to the organisers, will celebrate Nigeria‘s cultural diversity and unite the citizens, irrespective of their ethnical background.
Project Manager, Nigeria, HiTV, Morayo Aka-Bashorun, who said this at a briefing in Lagos on Thursday, explained that the show would concentrate on Nigerians who had not been exposed to western life.

Iyanya Mbbuk was crowned winner of the maiden edition of MTN Project Fame West Africa.
Talented singer, Iyanya Onoyom Mbuk, who we have all come to refer to as Iyanya in the past 16 months is out with his debut album.
Titled My story, the 14- tracker was released in Nigeria few weeks back.
The album is a multi_ faced body of work which covers all aspects of life from the point of view of the rising singer.

Vector - a new guy in town is out with his own style of music. I listened to the songs, they are quite good. This guy is promoted by YSG entertainment. The promoter sent me Vectors profile but I couldn’t open it because the file was corrupt. I have asked them to resend it to me. I will publish it as soon as I receive it.
